"Held By The Night" is an esoteric, imagined landscape. It is symbolic of what has felt like to Bree was a long night, a time that was hard to see through to the other side. This work is about stepping out and learning to trust in the unknown and stumbling upon love, the love of God and the love of humanity in complete strangers that wrapped around her and her family and held them tight until the way was once again clear.
