Lovely dark green leaves with distinct venation, measuring up to 9cm x 4cm. New growth starts out as light burgundy in colour. Recently reclassified as H. globulifera.
FLOWERS: Stunning deep pink-burgundy star shaped flowers, measuring 20mm across, with yellow-centred darker burgundy corona. Up to 25 flowers per umbel. Very light, indistinct fragrance. Flowers last for up to 5 days.
POSITION: Prefers bright indirect light.
TEMPERATURE: best suited to temperatures between 15-35C.
WATER: Water less often in winter. Half strength doses of fertiliser in growing period
