I'm super happy to have the wonderful Bronwyn David offering workshops in The Green Space. I recently had the privilege of doing this workshop at a private event we hosted and Bronwyn has agreed to do a series of workshops with us this spring. The first one is a vegan leather earring making workshop, participants don't need to be particularly creative, great for beginners. The vegan leather is pre-printed with designs.
VEGAN LEATHER EARRING WORKSHOP
When: 3-5pm Saturday 23rd of September
Where: The Green Space, 40 Balcombe Rd, Mentone. Enter through In Bloom Horticulture.
Details: Make 2 pairs of vegan leather earrings to take home. The vegan leather is printed with fun, colourful Bronwyn David designs. You'll use templates to cut shapes, all materials and tools supplied. Champagne and nibbles included.
About the Artist: A contemporary Indigenous artist, exploring connections to ancestry, land and waterways through her paintbrush, experimenting with colour and texture. She practices art in many forms including acrylics, mixed media and digital art, but Bronwyn mostly paints on leather to make into earrings.
