I'm a mum of a 12 and 14 year old and I'm always on the look out for things they can do together during the holidays. The older they get, the harder it is to find something that they will both be happy with. They are both creative and love jewellery, so I have asked Nicole to prepare a workshop for this age group. 

When: 12-2pm Monday 25th September

Where: THE GREEN SPACE, our beautiful, light filled multipurpose studio 40 Balcombe Rd, Mentone; enter through In Bloom Horticulture

Details: School holiday fun for 12-15 year olds. In this fun 2 hour workshop our participants will make 2 pieces, choose from beaded necklace, beaded bracelet and beaded earrings. Participants will be working with glass beads and will learn proper jewellery making techniques from our experienced jeweller. At the end of the workshop the participants will take home their 2 pieces. All materials are provided as are snacks for light lunch.

About the artist: This workshop is being run by Nicole Peeler of Silver Cinnamon Jewellery. Nicole has been making jewellery for the past 20 years, in Melbourne and in London. Nicole previously worked in Childcare as a Nanny.
